THE NEW DETECTIVES - THE PERFECT CRIME?

Cinemavixion Review

This installment of 'The New Detectives' delves into the chilling complexities of "The Perfect Crime?" through two compelling cases. The first narrative plunges into the psyche of a confessed killer, whose capture is only the first step. The challenge for law enforcement lies in piecing together the physical evidence – the missing body, the forensic link through tool marks, and the elusive motive – to secure a conviction, all while questioning the perpetrator's sanity. The second case presents a poignant mystery: the identification of a young woman, discovered years after her demise in a secluded woodland. The episode masterfully illustrates the meticulous, often arduous work of cold case squads, highlighting the dedication required to give a voice to the voiceless and bring closure to forgotten tragedies.
