THE NEW DETECTIVES - BLACK PANTHER'S GUN FIGHT GOES VERY WRONG

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the grim realities of crime and the meticulous work of forensic science. Focusing on ballistics, it reconstructs three harrowing cases: a fatal shooting at a seemingly peaceful July 4 picnic, the politically charged murder of Fred Hampton, and a tragic drive-by incident in New Orleans that claimed the life of a 12-year-old. The episode sheds light on how forensic analysis can unravel complex investigations, offering a procedural look at justice. While the episode title references a specific, perhaps sensationalized, incident, the narrative expands to encompass broader themes of violence and the crucial role of scientific evidence in bringing perpetrators to account. It serves as a stark reminder of the impact of violent crime and the dedication of those who seek to solve it.
