THE NEIGHBOURS OF BIG BROTHER

Cinemavixion Review

In an era where privacy is increasingly debated, 'The Neighbours of Big Brother' offers a compelling look at the proliferation of domestic CCTV in Britain. The documentary masterfully weaves together extraordinary footage captured by home surveillance systems, presenting a candid and often startling panorama of daily life under constant observation. It delves into the motivations behind this surge in private monitoring, exploring the dramatic, humorous, and sometimes bizarre narratives that unfold before these ubiquitous lenses. The film doesn't just present images; it interrogates the societal shift towards self-surveillance and the implications for community and individual freedom. A thought-provoking examination of our modern, watchful world.
