THE MURDER OF JOHN NEWMAN | POLITICAL ASSASSINATION | AUS CRIME

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into a dark chapter of Australian political history: the assassination of NSW MP John Newman. The film meticulously reconstructs the events surrounding the shooting outside his Sydney home, presenting it as the nation's sole instance of a serving politician being murdered. While details on the director and cast are absent, the narrative focuses on the gravity of the crime and its implications within the political landscape. The limited information available suggests a compelling, albeit somber, examination of a pivotal moment in Australian crime and politics, urging viewers to contemplate the vulnerability of public figures and the societal impact of such violence.
