THE MOST BIZARRE MURDERS IN OCEANIA'S HISTORY | TIME TRAVELS | ABSOLUTE HISTORY

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the darker corners of Oceania's past, presenting a chilling collection of historical crimes. Tony Robinson guides viewers through unsettling cases, from a shocking murder in 1950s New Zealand committed by a young couple, to a brutal act stemming from a 17th-century Dutch shipwreck off the Australian coast. The narrative also explores the assassination attempt on Governor Arthur Phillip, highlighting its profound impact on the nascent Australian colony. Further chilling accounts include a ruthless tactic deployed by rival countrymen in 1930s Adelaide and the peculiar case of the first camel imported to Australia, found guilty of a terrible deed. The episode compellingly argues that while malevolence manifests in diverse forms, escaping justice is a far more elusive feat.
