THE MIRAGE: BUILD THE BETTER CAR

Cinemavixion Review

Peter Kalikow's audacious 1968 venture to challenge the automotive giants with his own creation, 'The Mirage,' is a compelling narrative of ambition and the fickle hand of fate. At just 26, Kalikow channeled his construction earnings into a bold automotive dream. His perseverance culminated in a car gracing the cover of Road & Track and a celebrated debut at The New York International Auto Show three years later. Despite this initial acclaim, 'The Momo Mirage' ultimately became a symbol of an unfulfilled vision, a specter that haunted Kalikow for over four decades. This documentary, directed by Kyle Roper, delves into the personal and professional saga behind this ambitious automotive endeavor.
