THE MIDNIGHT MAN

Cinemavixion Review

This 2016 film, directed by Aitor Uribarri, plunges viewers into a tense domestic drama set against a backdrop of isolation and dread. The narrative centers on a couple seeking refuge in a remote mountain cabin, ostensibly to mend their fractured relationship. However, their personal struggles are soon overshadowed by the terrifying arrival of an unexpected and violent antagonist. Starring Ken Foree, Wendie Weldon, and Tommy Day Carey, the film leverages its secluded setting to amplify the suspense, exploring themes of marital strife and the primal instinct for survival when confronted by a relentless threat. While the plot summary provided is brief, it hints at a character-driven thriller where the psychological breakdown of a relationship becomes a stage for external terror.
