THE MAN THAT CONNED PRO-ATHLETES AND SENIOR POLITICIANS

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the audacious deceptions of a man who masterfully exploited the trust of high-profile individuals. The narrative unfolds the intricate web of lies spun by Michaels, a con artist whose targets ranged from the celebrated rugby icon Jonah Lomu to influential figures in New Zealand's political and business spheres. The film meticulously details how Michaels leveraged charm and the allure of lucrative business ventures to ensnare his victims. While the specific year and directorial vision are not detailed here, the subject matter itself promises a compelling exploration of vulnerability, ambition, and the devastating impact of fraud on both personal and professional lives. It serves as a stark reminder of the importance of due diligence and the sophisticated methods employed by those who seek to deceive.
