THE LOVE ISSUE

Cinemavixion Review

Graeme Campbell's "The Love Issue" offers a charming exploration of workplace dynamics and unexpected romance. The narrative centers on a beauty editor who enlists a photographer to pose as her boyfriend, a ruse designed to navigate a complicated professional and personal landscape. Alicia Dea Josipovic and Luke Humphrey anchor the film with performances that skillfully balance comedic timing and genuine emotional resonance. As their characters collaborate to revitalize a struggling magazine, they inadvertently rediscover parts of themselves, leading to a compelling question of whether professional pretense can blossom into authentic affection. The film adeptly captures the tension between ambition and heart, making it a delightful watch for fans of contemporary romantic comedies.
