THE LOST TREE

Cinemavixion Review

Brian A. Metcalf's 'The Lost Tree' plunges into the profound aftermath of trauma, charting a solitary journey toward renewal. Following a life-altering accident, the protagonist seeks refuge and a fresh start in the stark isolation of a remote cabin. This setting, however, becomes more than just a backdrop; it's a character in itself, imbued with a 'dangerous past' that the protagonist must confront. The narrative explores themes of healing, solitude, and the inescapable echoes of history. With a cast including Thomas Ian Nicholas, Lacey Chabert, Scott Grimes, Clare Kramer, and Michael Madsen, the film promises a compelling study of resilience against a backdrop of encroaching mystery and potential peril. It invites viewers to contemplate the arduous path of rebuilding a life when the very ground beneath one's feet holds unsettling secrets.
