THE LOST NUMBER

Cinemavixion Review

"The Lost Number" emerges as a compelling international action drama, weaving a narrative of redemption against the stark backdrop of an African slum. The film masterfully contrasts the personal journey of an English woman, seeking to atone for past transgressions, with the larger struggle to protect a remote community. Director Kester Nsirim helms a story that, while perhaps not reaching blockbuster status, resonates with its earnest depiction of courage and resilience. The performances, particularly from Sam Dede, Lisa Holsappel-Marrs, and Sadiq Abu, ground the action in believable human emotion. Despite its modest origins, "The Lost Number" offers a thought-provoking exploration of sacrifice and heroism, making it a noteworthy addition for viewers seeking impactful storytelling with a global perspective.
