THE LIES OF LEE RODARTE

Cinemavixion Review

This gripping true crime documentary plunges viewers into the unsettling case of Savannah Gold's disappearance in 2017. Hosted by the inimitable Vivica A. Fox, 'The Lies of Lee Rodarte' masterfully reconstructs the events leading up to and following Gold's failure to appear for her work shift, highlighting the increasingly bizarre text messages that first alerted her parents to the unfolding tragedy. The narrative skillfully pivots to Lee Rodarte, a co-worker whose inconsistent account quickly positions him as the prime suspect. The series excels in its portrayal of the tense cat-and-mouse game between investigators and Rodarte, offering a compelling look at the psychological dynamics within the interrogation room. It's a stark reminder of how a single disappearance can unravel a web of deceit, compelling viewers to question every statement and piece of evidence.
