THE LEGEND OF THE PSYCHOTIC FOREST RANGER

Cinemavixion Review

Emerging from the shadows of 80s grindhouse and cult horror, "The Legend of the Psychotic Forest Ranger" delivers a deliberately retro experience for aficionados of the genre. Director Brad Mills conjures a familiar scenario: teens stranded in desolate woods become prey for a deranged antagonist. The film embraces its B-movie roots with a commitment to chainsaws, questionable decisions, and a playful, bloody execution. While the external data points to a modest 3.5/10 rating on IMDb, its charm lies in its earnest homage to slashers like "The Evil Dead" and "Sleepaway Camp." For viewers seeking an unpretentious, fun-filled descent into low-budget terror, this Canadian production offers a campy yet engaging ride that doesn't take itself too seriously.
