THE LAST RESCUE

Cinemavixion Review

Eric Colley's "The Last Rescue" plunges viewers into the harrowing aftermath of D-Day, a period fraught with peril and uncertainty. The film centers on a small, disparate group of American soldiers and nurses who find themselves stranded deep within enemy territory. Their dire situation takes a desperate turn when they capture a high-ranking German officer, transforming their struggle for survival into a tense, high-stakes escape plan. With a runtime of 107 minutes, the narrative promises a compelling blend of action, drama, and the grim realities of war. While the film's critical reception, as indicated by its IMDb rating of 4.4/10, suggests a challenging viewing experience, its premise offers a potent exploration of courage and resilience against overwhelming odds. The ensemble cast, featuring Brett Cullen, Cody Kasch, and Gilles Marini, is tasked with bringing this gripping wartime ordeal to life.
