THE KEY TO CHRISTMAS

Cinemavixion Review

Jason Mills' "The Key to Christmas" offers a whimsical, albeit slightly chaotic, journey into the heart of holiday magic. Released in 2020, the film stars Scott Osborne, Camryn Macdonald, and Sadie Silcock in a story that playfully tackles the concept of time and its relation to the spirit of Christmas. The plot centers on a disgruntled elf's misguided attempt to rewind time at the North Pole, inadvertently de-aging Santa Claus and jeopardizing the festive season. This premise sets the stage for an adventurous quest where a loyal elf, a young girl armed with a mystical key, and a rapidly adolescent Santa must unite to restore the future of Christmas. While the film may not boast major awards or widespread critical acclaim, its charming premise and family-friendly narrative make it a potential delight for those seeking a lighthearted holiday diversion. The film's narrative, driven by the urgency of saving Christmas, invites viewers to embrace the wonder and resilience of holiday traditions, even when faced with extraordinary circumstances.
