THE JOGGER

Cinemavixion Review

Jeff Robison and Casey Twenter's 'The Jogger' plunges viewers into a harrowing nocturnal ordeal. The film masterfully crafts an atmosphere of escalating dread as a routine evening run transforms into a desperate flight for survival against a relentless, unseen assailant. Derek Phillips delivers a compelling performance, embodying the mounting terror and resourcefulness of a man pushed to his absolute limits. While the narrative treads familiar ground in the thriller genre, the tight pacing and palpable suspense make for an effective and engaging cinematic experience. The stark portrayal of vulnerability in the face of pure malice is particularly resonant, making 'The Jogger' a noteworthy entry for fans of suspenseful, character-driven horror.
