THE INVITE

Cinemavixion Review

In "The Invite" (2022), director Sean Gilliam crafts a compelling narrative centered on Selena, a woman driven to extreme measures for love. Initially a protector, training the vulnerable against unseen threats, Selena's world shifts dramatically when her husband faces a terminal illness. The film explores a dark turn as she must embrace the role of a predator herself to secure the means for his survival. Starring Eriyon Adams, Carlissa Andrews, and Sarah Bass, this thriller promises a tense examination of morality under duress. While details on its reception and awards are sparse, the premise alone suggests a gripping story of sacrifice and transformation.
