THE INTERNSHIP GAMES

Cinemavixion Review

Tania Zee's "The Internship Games" plunges viewers into a high-stakes competition where six ambitious students from historically black colleges and universities vie for a life-altering internship at Econo Air. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Los Angeles, the film explores the desperate measures individuals will take when faced with dire financial circumstances, including the need for substantial salaries and paid tuition. As the competition intensifies, the students' personal motivations and the underlying "craziness" within the company create a compelling narrative. Zee, who also directs, helms a cast including Tonya Reneé Banks and Elena M. Ray, delivering a story that examines ambition, desperation, and the often-unseen challenges that accompany the pursuit of success. While the film may not have garnered widespread critical acclaim, its focus on relatable struggles and the unique premise offers a thought-provoking look at the pressures faced by young professionals entering the corporate world.
