THE INFAMOUS RÉDOINE FAÏD

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the notorious life of Rédoine Faïd, a figure whose audacious prison escapes and charismatic persona captivated and later polarized public opinion. The narrative takes a sharp turn as a police officer's death shifts sentiment against him. Guided by Billy Hayes, whose own harrowing prison escape inspired the acclaimed film 'Midnight Express,' the film employs expert interviews and dramatic reenactments to dissect Faïd's most daring breaks. It's a compelling look at a man who became a symbol of defiance, but ultimately faced the consequences of a life lived outside the law.
