THE HUNT FOR A LOST EASTERN CIVILIZATION AND OTHER ANCIENT MYSTERIES

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary embarks on an ambitious journey along the River Oxus, challenging conventional historical narratives. It posits that the East, rather than receiving civilization from the West, was its cradle, predating even the Persian empires. The film follows Alexander the Great's path, venturing into Afghanistan and Central Asia to uncover the remnants of the Oxus Civilizations, a 'lost world' of advanced culture. The narrative promises an exploration of ancient mysteries, suggesting a profound reversal of historical influence. While the specific details of this 'lost civilization' and its extent remain to be fully detailed, the premise offers a compelling invitation to reconsider established timelines and the flow of cultural development in antiquity. It is a fascinating proposition for those intrigued by early human history and the hidden chapters of our past.
