THE HOUSE GUEST

Cinemavixion Review

In 'The House Guest,' director Jonathan Milton crafts a tense psychological thriller that delves into the unsettling dynamics of trust and betrayal. The narrative centers on a young couple whose lives are disrupted by the arrival of a long-lost childhood friend, a presence that soon turns insidiously manipulative. As the guest's true intentions unravel, the film masterfully builds suspense, exploring themes of jealousy and hidden desires that lead to a series of tragic events. The plot, while familiar in its setup, is executed with a chilling efficiency, keeping viewers on edge as the couple grapples with the escalating danger within their own home. This is a compelling exploration of how a seemingly innocuous intrusion can shatter domestic tranquility, leading to a descent into darkness.
