This documentary delves into the chilling case of George Joseph Smith, the notorious "Brides in the Bath" murderer. Through meticulous re-examination, the film uncovers the calculated cruelty of a serial bigamist who systematically drowned at least three of his wives to claim insurance payouts. The narrative traces Smith's predatory path in the early 20th century, highlighting the sinister pattern of his crimes and the shocking ease with which he manipulated and murdered. It serves as a grim reminder of the dark side of human nature and the devastating consequences of greed, offering a compelling, albeit disturbing, historical account.
