THE HORRIBLE HILLSIDE STRANGLER

Cinemavixion Review

The documentary "The Horrible Hillside Strangler" delves into the chillingly real-life partnership of Kenneth Bianchi and Angelo Buono, a duo whose collaboration in serial murder defied conventional understanding. The film meticulously reconstructs their brutal spree, exploring the motivations behind their extraordinary descent into violence. Through the poignant recollections of friends, law enforcement officials, and an ex-wife, coupled with a rare, detailed confession, viewers are presented with a disturbing portrait of killers driven by a twisted quest for notoriety. The narrative also touches upon the darker elements of Hollywood and the sensationalized moniker "The Gay Slayer," offering a grim examination of how fame and infamy can become intertwined with monstrous acts. This is a stark reminder of the depths of human depravity and the devastating impact of such crimes.
