THE HITCHHIKER

Cinemavixion Review

This 2007 thriller, directed by Leigh Scott, plunges viewers into a desolate desert landscape where a road trip takes a terrifying detour. The narrative follows four young women whose journey to Las Vegas is violently disrupted by a seemingly charming hitchhiker. When their vehicle fails near a secluded motel, they find themselves ensnared in a nightmarish scenario with a relentless killer. While the film may not boast high critical scores, its premise taps into classic horror tropes, offering a suspenseful cat-and-mouse dynamic. The isolated setting and the vulnerability of the protagonists create an atmosphere of dread, making for a tense watch for fans of survival horror.
