THE HARVESTING: MALEVOLENT PRESENCE

Cinemavixion Review

This independent horror film, "THE HARVESTING: MALEVOLENT PRESENCE," plunges a city-dwelling family into the unsettling quiet of Amish Country for a summer that quickly sours. As the idyllic setting gives way to an encroaching dread, the narrative explores the fragility of family bonds when confronted by a sinister force. The film's premise hinges on the unraveling of dark secrets, suggesting a psychological thriller element woven into its supernatural horror. Director Ivan Kraljevic aims to deliver a suspenseful experience, with Elena Nikitina Bick, Chris Conner, and Jennifer Gareis leading the cast. While the setup promises a tense exploration of hidden truths and external threats, the effectiveness of its execution relies on the film's ability to sustain its atmospheric build-up and deliver a satisfyingly chilling conclusion.
