THE GROUND BETWEEN US

Cinemavixion Review

"The Ground Between Us" is a compelling 2020 documentary that delves into the contentious landscape of America's public lands. Directed by Galen Knowles and Zeppelin Zeerip, the film starkly portrays the environmental and political battles waged in 2017, as protections were rolled back and vast tracts of land were opened for resource extraction. Through the intimate stories of three families with deeply personal connections to these lands, the documentary highlights the diverse perspectives and the urgent fight for the future of these invaluable natural spaces. It serves as a poignant reminder of the complex relationship between conservation, development, and the communities intertwined with public territories.
