THE GORGE

Cinemavixion Review

This film plunges viewers into the shadowy depths of a remote gorge, where long-buried family secrets begin to surface with the discovery of a body. The narrative centers on Ksenia, who embarks on a perilous journey to unravel the final days of her mother, a woman who vanished two decades prior. As Ksenia digs deeper, she unearths truths that are not only disturbing but potentially life-threatening, suggesting that some mysteries are best left undisturbed. The film masterfully builds suspense, using the isolated and foreboding setting to amplify the psychological tension. It's a compelling exploration of how the past can haunt the present, and the terrifying consequences of disturbing what lies hidden.
