Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the chilling ingenuity of World War I weaponry with a focus on a colossal flamethrower designed for the Battle of the Somme. The narrative follows historian Peter Barton and archeologist Tony Pollard as they embark on a quest in northern France to unearth not only secret tunnels but also this formidable, long-lost machine. The program highlights the terrifying potential of this 60-foot weapon, capable of projecting flames over 100 yards, a testament to the destructive innovation of the era.
