THE GENIUS TACTICS OF WW2 WOLFPACKS

Cinemavixion Review

James Holland, a distinguished historian of the Second World War, offers a compelling examination of the 'wolfpacks' that prowled the Atlantic. This documentary delves into the intricate strategies and technological prowess of the German U-boat campaigns, moving beyond mere historical accounts to explore the very essence of the Nazi war machine. Holland's journey across Europe is not just a geographical one, but a deep dive into the engineering marvels and operational tactics that defined this era of naval warfare. Through meticulous research and the use of rare archival footage, the film provides a nuanced understanding of these formidable vessels and the men who commanded them. It's a fascinating look at a critical, often terrifying, aspect of the war, presented with intellectual rigor and narrative clarity.
