THE FOUR DEUCES

Cinemavixion Review

William H. Bushnell's 1975 crime drama, 'The Four Deuces,' plunges viewers into the murky underworld of gangland boss Vic Morono and his formidable crew. The film masterfully navigates a narrative built on loyalty, betrayal, and the high stakes of a life lived on the edge. Jack Palance delivers a commanding performance as Morono, anchoring the ensemble cast that includes Carol Lynley and Warren Berlinger, each contributing to the film's gritty atmosphere. While the plot synopsis suggests a blend of humor and violence, the core of the story lies in its exploration of power dynamics within a criminal syndicate. The film's pacing, as indicated by its runtime, promises a focused narrative culminating in a tense showdown. 'The Four Deuces' offers a compelling look at the consequences of ambition in a world where every move can be a gamble.
