THE FORBIDDEN GIRL

Cinemavixion Review

Till Hastreiter's "The Forbidden Girl" plunges into a dark, supernatural romance where faith and forbidden desire collide. The narrative centers on the son of a fundamentalist pastor, a young man caught between his upbringing and an intoxicating, irresistible witch. This premise sets the stage for a compelling exploration of temptation and its eternal consequences, suggesting a journey into the abyss of damnation for succumbing to primal urges. The film promises a visually rich and thematically dense experience, delving into the eternal struggle between spiritual salvation and the allure of the forbidden. It’s a tale that hints at profound questions about destiny, free will, and the price of passion in a world where supernatural forces hold sway.
