THE FLYING TIGERS - THE FIGHT FOR CHINA'S SKIES

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary, "The Flying Tigers - The Fight for China's Skies," delves into the critical period of April 1943, when two American generals embarked on a mission from China to Washington. Their shared objective was to expel Japan from Chinese territories, yet their individual strategies diverged significantly. General Claire Chennault, in particular, sought to secure additional aircraft, highlighting the vital need for air power in the China-Burma-India theater. The film likely explores the complexities of wartime diplomacy and the strategic importance of maintaining air superiority against Japanese forces during World War II.
