THE FAMILY THAT WAS MURDERED FOR £5 MILLION | REAL CRIME

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the chilling true story of a family brutally murdered for a £5 million fortune. The narrative meticulously reconstructs the plot orchestrated by Kenneth Regan, known as 'Captain Cash,' and his associates, who sought to seize the Chohan family's legitimate business to front their drug smuggling operations. The film poignantly details how the entire family—Mr. Chohan, his wife, her mother, and their two young sons—were lured into a deadly trap, their murders disguised as a tragic disappearance. The investigation's complexity is highlighted, particularly the crucial breakthrough that came from a parallel family murder in New Zealand, which defied the convenient explanations of tax evasion or business disputes. The documentary starkly portrays the discovery of the three adult bodies washed ashore and the lingering mystery of the two missing babies, offering a somber reflection on greed, violence, and the enduring pursuit of justice.
