THE FACE IN THE WALL

Cinemavixion Review

Dwayne Buckle's 2017 indie feature, "The Face In The Wall," offers a peculiar premise that leans into the uncanny. The film follows Calvin, a cameraman on a low-budget production, who, along with a select few, begins to perceive a spectral visage within the walls of an old film location. This supernatural occurrence spirals into a narrative that, according to the limited plot summary, becomes increasingly strange. Starring Victoria Guthrie, Mark C. Fullhardt, and Amiya Steed, the film presents a concentrated mystery, exploring the psychological and potentially otherworldly implications of shared hallucinations or paranormal encounters. While details on its reception and awards are scarce, its IMDb rating of 6.5 suggests a modestly received science-fiction-tinged thriller that dares to explore the unseen.
