THE ELIMINATOR

Cinemavixion Review

"The Eliminator" plunges viewers into a high-octane world where survival is the ultimate prize. Ken Barbet directs a tense narrative centered on ex-Navy SEAL Dakota Varley, portrayed with grit by Bas Rutten, who finds himself in a deadly game after winning a power-boat race. The plot, as detailed by external data, shifts from a lucrative competition to a brutal survival challenge on a tropical island, orchestrated by wealthy "Players" for the amusement of the elite. Michael Rooker delivers a compelling performance as the antagonist Dawson. While the film may not boast critical accolades, its raw action and desperate struggle for survival offer a visceral thrill, exploring themes of greed and the darker aspects of human nature. It's a straightforward, action-packed B-movie experience that delivers on its promise of intense scenarios and a fight to the bitter end.
