THE DOG WALKER

Cinemavixion Review

Kylie Hitchcock's "THE DOG WALKER" plunges viewers into the claustrophobic world of an investigative journalist grappling with debilitating anxiety. The narrative centers on a protagonist forced out of early retirement by a menacing stalker, who presents a final, chilling enigma. The film masterfully explores themes of trauma and the inescapable nature of one's past, amplified by the journalist's internal struggles. Alexandru Aldea, Ed Altman, and Robyn Babina deliver compelling performances that anchor the psychological tension. Hitchcock crafts a suspenseful atmosphere, making the journalist's descent into her worst nightmare a palpable and engaging cinematic experience. This is a taut thriller that delves into the psychological toll of fear and obsession.
