THE DOG AND PONY SHOW

Cinemavixion Review

In "The Dog And Pony Show," director Demetrius Navarro presents a charming CGI family adventure centered on Dee Dee, a pampered circus star whose inflated ego is matched only by her global renown. The narrative takes an unexpected turn when Dee Dee finds herself stranded on a farm after a mishap during a circus move. There, she encounters Aaron (Ralph Macchio) and his son Billy (Zachary Lowry), forging an unlikely bond. Faced with the potential loss of the farm, Dee Dee rallies a colorful cast of farm animals – including Thelma Lu the cow, Wally the horse, and Buddy the rooster – to stage a spectacular show. The stakes are raised as Dee Dee even seeks the assistance of her former circus partner, Porter the Pony, who has since achieved his own stardom. This heartwarming tale explores themes of friendship, loyalty, and the power of community, all wrapped in a visually engaging animated package designed to entertain the entire family.
