THE D.J.

Cinemavixion Review

Miller, a charismatic morning radio DJ in the sun-drenched American South, finds his ostensibly simple life violently disrupted when his bicycle is stolen. This seemingly minor transgression propels him into a labyrinth of illicit activities and dangerous characters, turning his world on its head. The narrative masterfully explores how one's circumstances can shift with startling speed, forcing an ordinary man into extraordinary and perilous situations. The film delves into themes of fate, consequence, and the hidden underbelly of seemingly idyllic locales. Miller's journey is a compelling descent into a reality far removed from the cheerful banter of his on-air persona, offering a thought-provoking look at the fragility of normalcy.
