THE DEVIL'S TATTOO

Cinemavixion Review

Julian Kean's 2003 thriller, "The Devil's Tattoo," offers a chilling descent into the unknown aboard a deserted oil platform. The film, starring Jaason Simmons, Bryan Carney, and Juliet Diamond, presents a taut narrative where a group of environmental activists board the rig only to discover they are not alone. Their investigation into the disappearance of the workers leads them to a disturbing videotape, detailing an encroaching evil force that has driven the previous occupants to desperate measures. While the film may not have garnered significant awards or widespread critical acclaim, its strength lies in its atmospheric tension and mystery. The plot skillfully builds suspense as the young protagonists unravel the occult secrets plaguing the platform. "The Devil's Tattoo" is a commendable entry in the horror-mystery genre, providing a compelling watch for those who appreciate a slow-burn narrative with a supernatural edge.
