THE DEVIL OPERATION | A BATTLE FOR WATER AND JUSTICE | FULL DOCUMENTARY

Cinemavixion Review

In the stark beauty of the Peruvian Andes, "The Devil Operation" unfolds as a compelling documentary, spotlighting the profound conflict arising from the expansion of a colossal gold mine. At its heart is the environmental activist and priest Marco Arana, whose courageous stand against the exploitation of natural resources forms the narrative's backbone. What commences as a vital struggle for the preservation of clean water and ancestral lands escalates into a deeply unsettling chronicle of modern-day challenges, encompassing pervasive surveillance and insidious intimidation tactics. Yet, amidst these grave threats, the film also illuminates the remarkable resilience and unwavering courage of those fighting for justice and environmental integrity. This documentary serves as a powerful testament to the human spirit's capacity to confront powerful interests in defense of their homeland and fundamental rights.
