THE DEMON GOBLIN

Cinemavixion Review

This chilling horror short plunges viewers into a primal fear, where the encroaching darkness of Halloween is embodied by a relentless goblin. The narrative, set in a secluded woodland hamlet, taps into ancient anxieties surrounding the vulnerability of the innocent, with the goblin's sinister hunt for infants serving as a potent symbol of encroaching evil. While the director and cast are not specified, the premise alone evokes a sense of dread and helplessness, promising a suspenseful and terrifying experience. It’s a potent reminder of the folk horror tradition, where the wilderness becomes a character in itself, harboring ancient malevolence that preys upon isolated communities. This tale is likely to linger long after the credits roll, a testament to the power of distilled terror.
