THE DAY I SHOT JOHN LENNON

Cinemavixion Review

This film plunges into the dark psyche of Mark David Chapman, exploring the tumultuous days preceding his infamous act of violence against John Lennon. With a premise rooted in real events, the movie aims to dissect the motivations and circumstances that led to this tragic moment in music history. While the description suggests a focus on suspense and psychological depth, reminiscent of films like 'Zodiac' and 'Secret Window,' it remains to be seen if the narrative fully captures the gravity of its subject matter. The casting of Jared Leto and Lindsay Lohan in pivotal roles adds a layer of intrigue, promising performances that could either elevate or detract from the film's impact. As a crime drama, it endeavors to shed light on a notorious event, offering a fictionalized yet grounded perspective on a chapter that continues to fascinate and disturb.
