THE DARK AND TWISTED PSYCHOLOGY OF CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the complex and often brutal transformation of Christopher Columbus, charting his journey from an explorer with commercial ambitions to a figure whose actions precipitated immense suffering. The narrative compellingly argues that his initial intent to find a new trade route to Asia devolved into a reign of greed and violence upon encountering the Americas. This descent marked the beginning of what is infamously known as 'The Black Legend,' a period where the newly discovered lands were irrevocably altered from paradise to a landscape of colonial brutality. The film effectively traces this dark trajectory, highlighting the profound and devastating impact of European colonization.
