THE DALTON GANG

Cinemavixion Review

This 1892 Western, directed by Christopher Forbes, chronicles the tragic descent of the Dalton brothers. Driven by a thirst for vengeance after their brother Frank's death at the hands of an outlaw, Bob, Emmett, and Grat Dalton initially join the sheriff's department. However, disillusionment with the law's corruption pushes them toward a life of crime. For two years in the early 1890s, they became notorious train robbers and thieves, aiming to surpass the exploits of Jesse James. Their ambition culminated in a daring, ill-fated attempt to rob two banks simultaneously in October 1892, an event that ultimately led to their downfall.
