THE DA VINCI TREASURE

Cinemavixion Review

Peter Mervis's "The Da Vinci Treasure" plunges viewers into a globe-trotting quest for an artifact of immense historical and religious significance. The film follows an anthropologist as he deciphers cryptic clues embedded within Leonardo da Vinci's masterpieces, a narrative device that fuels a sense of intellectual adventure. While the premise promises a thrilling blend of history and mystery, the execution, as reflected in its modest reception, leans more towards a straightforward adventure narrative. The exploration of da Vinci's work provides a fascinating backdrop, inviting audiences to ponder the secrets that art and history can hold. It's a film that aims for grand revelations, offering a diverting, if at times predictable, journey into the heart of a world-altering discovery.
