Cinemavixion Review

Scott Jeffrey's "The Cult of Humpty Dumpty" plunges viewers into a disquieting reimagining of a familiar nursery rhyme, transforming it into a chilling horror-thriller. The film adeptly crafts an atmosphere of dread as a group of locals stumbles upon a sinister cult centered around the iconic Humpty Dumpty figure. Jeffrey masterfully weaves a narrative of dark secrets and twisted rituals, escalating the suspense with each revelation. The cast, including Christopher Key, Sian Altman, and Antoine Murray, navigates the escalating terror with compelling performances that draw the audience into the unfolding mystery. While drawing inspiration from childhood innocence, the film succeeds in creating a palpable sense of fear and unease, posing the unsettling question of whether escape is possible from the cult's sinister grip or Humpty Dumpty's ancient curse. It's a bold exploration of how familiar tales can be twisted into modern nightmares, blending suspense and horror with a unique, unsettling vision.
