THE COWBOY KILLER: THE DEADLY GAME OF CLAUDE DALLAS

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges into the rugged wilderness of Idaho to chronicle the elusive figure of Claude Dallas. A man who perceived himself as above the constraints of law, Dallas's life was marked by a series of escalating conflicts with authority. The narrative vividly portrays the extensive manhunt launched by the FBI following his deadly confrontation with two game wardens, a pursuit intensified by his subsequent escape from prison. The film explores themes of defiance, survival, and the stark contrast between societal rules and the untamed spirit of a man living by his own code. The stark, unforgiving landscape serves as a powerful backdrop to this gripping true story of a man who became a legend in his own time, leaving authorities perpetually one step behind.
