THE COUSINS

Cinemavixion Review

Sebastian Trecco's "The Cousins" delves into a chilling true event from 1989 in Florida, Buenos Aires, where two women were discovered lifeless in a bathtub. Set in a small provincial city, the film follows a prosecutor and a private investigator as they attempt to unravel the mystery. However, their investigation takes a dark turn, leading them into the realms of the supernatural, the macabre, and the eternal. More than just a crime procedural, "The Cousins" serves as a potent metaphor for our collective beliefs and acts as a desperate plea for humanity to foster a better world founded on wisdom and love.
