THE COME UP

Cinemavixion Review

In 'The Come Up', a brief but spirited short film, we are introduced to Steve, a tenacious production assistant navigating the chaotic world of Hollywood filmmaking. The narrative cleverly intertwines Steve's efforts to recover stolen petty cash with his personal ambition to have his screenplay noticed by a major producer. The film offers a charming, albeit brief, glimpse into the behind-the-scenes machinations of movie sets, utilizing the environment for comedic effect. While specific details on its critical reception and awards are limited, the premise itself, centered on ambition and the hustle within the industry, promises an engaging watch for those intrigued by the often-unseen efforts behind the silver screen. It's a testament to how even the smallest roles can lead to unexpected adventures.
