THE COLD FATHER

Cinemavixion Review

"The Cold Father" plunges viewers into a maelstrom of grief and obsession, centering on a 55-year-old patriarch consumed by the disappearance of his daughter. Driven by a desperate need for answers, he employs a lie-detection machine, turning his home into a crucible of suspicion for all involved. The film promises a tense psychological thriller, where the interrogation of others becomes a mirror reflecting the protagonist's own unraveling psyche. As hidden secrets surface, the narrative explores the corrosive nature of truth and the devastating impact of loss, all while the protagonist grapples with his internal demons. The performances, particularly from Luthuli Dlamini, Jack Devnarain, and Erica Bokang, are poised to navigate this dark emotional landscape, making "The Cold Father" a compelling study of a man pushed to his absolute limits.
